The department is housed in the School of Health Sciences. It is a vibrant community of learners, researchers, and faculty members committed to advancing knowledge and practice in both Medical Laboratory and Pharmacy Sciences. Minimum Entry Requirements
KCSE Mean Grade: C+ (plus) or equivalent
At least a C+ in each of the following subjects:

• Mathematics or Physics
• Chemistry or Physical Sciences
• Biology or Biological Sciences
• English or Kiswahili

Duration of Study
• Four (4) Academic Years
• Delivered through coursework, laboratory practicals, clinical placements, and research projects.

Graduates may advance academically and professionally through:

• Master of Science (Medical Laboratory Science) or related health programs.
• Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in specialized areas of laboratory and health sciences.
